About me
1992, Barcelona
Presently I am teaching at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu de Barcelona (speciality chamber music) and at the Escola Municipal de Música de Montornès del Vallès (speciality saxophone). I combine my teaching activity with the conducting of two vocal choirs (Coral Collserola and Coral Turó de Sant Pau) and performances around Europe.
I studied a Bachelor degree in classical saxophone at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu de Barcelona with Professor Albert Julià (2014).
During my studies I took part in an ERASMUS program, spending six months in ArtEZ hogeschool voor de kunsten (Enschede, Netherlands) with Professor Johan Van der Linden. Later on I was admitted to the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln (Cologne, Germany), where I studied a Master’s degree of saxophone with Professor Daniel Gauthier (2016). Afterwards I carried out a Soloist Diploma in classical saxophone at The Royal Academy of Music Aarhus (Denmark) under the tuition of Johannes Thorell (2019).
In 2021 I finished a chamber music Master’s degree at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu de Barcelona, supported by a scholarship from the same institution, together with my colleagues at the saxophone quartet ‘Quartet Vela’, with whom I have recorded our debut CD ‘Vistes al mar’.
Recently, together with cellist Elisabet Iserte (Absit Duo), I have recorded my second CD ‘Trencadís’, supported by the Barcelona City Council.
